Event Points Formula: Place Points + Bonus Points x Multiplier = Event Total Points
Examples:
Stroke Play: Finish 5th at Carolinas Senior Amateur Championship
36 points (5th place) + 5 bonus points (making cut) x 6 multiplier = 246 total points
Stroke Play: Finish 5th at Carolinas Women's Amateur Championship
36 points (5th place) x 6 multiplier = 216 total points
Match Play: Make Quarterfinals at U.S. Senior Amateur Championship
30.5 points (T5 Quarterfinals) + 10 points (sectional qualifying bonus) + 25 points (match play bonus) x 9 multiplier = 589.5 total points
Match Play: Make Round of 16 in Carolinas Women's Match Play
19 Points (Round of 16) x 6 multiplier = 114 points
Splitting Tied Points: The points awarded for each of those players tied at a position are added and evenly divided by the amount of the total points awarded for the tied positions. The players are then awarded same points as if they all finished separately.
Example: 3 players finished tied for 5th in a 1 multiplier event; 36+32+28 points for positions 5th, 6th, 7th are added and divided by 3 positions. Each player will receive 32 points.
